The MCAKC LiFT Level 2 Project Management Program helps experienced project managers strengthen the leadership, financial, and project management skills needed to guide successful projects from planning through closeout.
Across ten weekly seminars, participants explore team leadership, project planning, risk management, negotiation, claims avoidance, cash flow and WIP, change orders, turnover and closeout, BIM/VDC coordination, and project performance. Each session connects practical tools to real project challenges, helping participants make stronger decisions, improve profitability, and lead projects more effectively.

Program Completion Requirement: Successful completion of this program requires attendance at nine of ten sessions.

Tuition
No charge for employees of MCAKC Member Contractors signatory to Local 8 or Local 533.
$1,000 for non-member contractors signatory to Local 8 or Local 533.
$1,500 for Associate Members.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for MCAKC events and programs must be received at least 2 business days prior to the event by email at learn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. Cancellations received after this time will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee.
Registrants who do not cancel and do not attend (“No Shows”) will be assessed:
$100 — Events up to 4 hours
$150 — Events over 4 hours
For multi-day events or programs, the applicable no-show fee will be assessed for each day missed.
