Favorite Things Gift Exchange
Here’s how it works: Bring one wrapped gift worth around $20. It can be one favorite thing or a little bundle of favorites. Think self-care finds, can’t-live-without gadgets, a treat you keep buying or the handy tool you always reach for.
You’ll exchange gifts at your table, share why you love what you brought and go home with a new favorite!
Optional Book Exchange
Bring a wrapped book you love with a short note tucked inside about why it’s a favorite, and sign your name on the note. Drop it at the book table when you arrive, then pick a different wrapped book to take home any time before 5:00 PM.

Appetizers, drinks, mingling and the optional book exchange

Favorite Things Gift Exchange
Seating is assigned so you’ll get to meet someone new. Stop by check-in when you arrive for your name tag and table number.
Who Should Attend
Open to individuals employed by MCAKC Member Contractors signatory to Local 8 or Local 533 and MCAKC Associate Members.
Cancellation Policy
If your plans change, please cancel at least 2 business days before the event by emailing learn@mcakc.org or calling 913-948-9200. Late cancellations and no-shows will be assessed a $100 fee.
